A torn-up roofline after a storm isn't a "get to it next week" problem, and we don't treat it like one — Roof Repair Smedway answers, scopes the damage, and dispatches a crew across Edmond fast.
Roof Repair Smedway grew out of Edmond, WV job sites, not a corporate rollout plan — that's still how we staff every Hail Damage Roof Repair crew we send to Edmond.
Ask to see our Edmond, WV license and insurance certificate and you'll have it in your hand before the estimate even starts.
A roof repair that's "close enough" tends to fail again within a year, usually during the exact storm it was supposed to handle. We don't build that way.
Proof of licensing before the first ladder goes up.
A midnight call gets the same urgency as a noon call.
You approve a number before the crew touches your roof.
Faster arrivals because we're already close by.
Most emergency calls we get trace back to a smaller sign that went unnoticed for weeks or months.
None of the six signs below require an emergency call on their own, but each one is worth a scheduled inspection before it turns into something bigger.
Shingles shed their protective granules as they wear down, and a gutter full of grit is an early tell.
Once a shingle starts warping, its seal against wind-driven rain is already compromised.
Daylight visible through the attic roof boards means water has the same path in.
Sagging or soft drywall usually points to sustained moisture, not a single isolated drip.
Rooms that run noticeably hotter than the rest of the house often trace back to roof or attic issues.
A bare patch after high wind is a direct gap in your roof's weather barrier that needs covering right away.
Not every call needs the same fix, so we scope each Edmond job individually instead of running everything through one generic quote.
Below is the full breakdown of what we cover in Edmond, so you can see roughly where your situation fits before you even call.
Active leaks get priority dispatch — a temporary cover first, a proper repair as soon as the crew can get materials on-site.
From a few cracked shingles to a complete tear-off, residential jobs get scoped against manufacturer spec, not a rough guess.
Flat roofs get scheduled inspections in addition to repair calls, catching ponding-water problems early.
Material selection is part of the replacement conversation, matched to your climate exposure and budget.
Scheduled maintenance catches loose flashing and clogged valleys before the next storm turns them urgent.
Chimney crickets, skylight seals, and valley flashing are common leak points that general repair crews often miss.
We keep this process the same whether it's a single shingle repair or a full Edmond tear-off, because a predictable process is part of what makes a stressful roof problem manageable.
A dispatcher logs your address, roof type, and the problem, then schedules based on urgency.
You get a plain-language explanation, not just a number.
Financing and insurance-claim questions are addressed at this stage.
Once approved, the crew completes the work to manufacturer spec and cleans the site before leaving.
If you've been burned by a roofing company before, these are the specific things we do differently, not just a promise that we're "better."
We give you an honest arrival window instead of a vague "sometime this week."
Every estimate is itemized so you know exactly what you're paying for.
Crews carry moisture meters and proper fall protection on every job site.
Every job includes a written labor warranty separate from the shingle manufacturer's coverage.
We're not your insurance company, but we make that part of the process easier.
If a repair solves the problem, that's what we recommend — we don't push a replacement to inflate the invoice.
Every job closes with a written workmanship guarantee, separate from whatever the material manufacturer already covers — if something's wrong, we come back and fix it.
We also guarantee the number on your estimate — barring a scope change you approve first, that's the number on your invoice.
None of this is a marketing line — it's how every Edmond job actually gets closed out, warranty paperwork included.
We stage crews across Edmond, WV so a storm hitting one part of the region doesn't leave the rest of Edmond waiting.
Because our crews already know Edmond's layout, we rarely lose time to a wrong-turn delay that out-of-area companies deal with constantly.
We'd rather confirm coverage on a quick call than have a homeowner assume they're out of range and skip calling entirely.
